Poll responders say message board will help college
For the last two weeks, the castletonspartan.com poll question asked what effect the comment board that that Professor Paul Derby’s Sociology class created would have on the college. In those two weeks, the poll prompted 23 votes from individuals. Of the 23, 19 of those partaking believed that it would have an effect.
The answers made available were “major,” “some,” “minimal” and “none.”
The most common answer was “some,” which received 10 votes. The next most common answer was “minimal” with seven votes.
Derby said he is glad that the majority of students who voted believe that his class’ board will have an effect on the college.
“It is encouraging to see that students would take the time to respond. Their responses show that they feel strongly about it,” Derby said.
